1. What data we collect and how we collect it
We collect data from you when you place an order on our website or when you sign up to our newsletter using the form on our website.
The data we collect when you place an order is your name, address, email address and telephone number (should you provide it). We need this information to process and deliver your orders and to contact you in the event there is a problem with your order that needs clarifying.
If you sign up to our newsletter using the form on our website we collect your name and email address.
Your IP address and purchase history is collected automatically and stored on our shopping cart’s secure server.
In our business we use some third parties to provide services that are necessary to process orders, collect payments and to facilitate the production of email newsletters.
These third parties are currently:

PayPal
Square
MailChimp
Flodesk
2. Data security
Information provided to us when you place an order is kept by us and is also on the secure RomanCart server. If you sign up to our newsletter the details (name and email address) are stored on the secure MailChimp server. We keep this information secure and confidential and we will never sell it or pass it to third parties unless we are required to do so by law.

Payments
Payments for website orders are processed over secure servers using the PayPal platform. When we take card payments at events we use the Square system. When we take card payments over the phone we type your card details directly into the PayPal or Square virtual server over a secure connection. PayPal and Square are both GDPR compliant. You can check their privacy policies by visiting their websites.
We now use the PayPal Commerce Platform for card payments which is PDS2 compliant.
We do not have access to any of your card / payment details. When we take a card payment over the phone we do not keep your card information which means we have to ask for your payment details each time you make a purchase.
TextileGarden is PCI compliant.
3. Control over your data
At any time you can ask us to inform you of the details of the data we keep about you, correct or amend any data or ask us to delete all your data from our system.
You can unsubscribe at any time from our newsletters by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter email.
4. Coookies
We use cookies on our website. A cookie is data that is stored on site visitors computers hard drives that helps to improve and enhance your visits to our website. We cannot personally identify anyone by the use of cookies. Virtually all websites use cookies and they will not harm your computer system. There is a cookie banner on the website inviting visitors to click OK to accept cookies or customise their cookie selection. You can adjust the use of cookies in your browser settings but if you block or restrict cookies you may not be able to access our website properly.
